I just wanted to tell you that your poems moved me....as a poet myself i know that you dont write you soul in words for other peoples enjoyment, but sometimes it is nice to hear from some one who appreciates it nether the less. Thank you for sharing such a beautiful poem. There are 3 things that to be are beautifully written that I enjoy reading over and over again, The Desderata, The Prophet by Kahlil Gibran, The Songs of Soloman and now your poem. I wish I had inspired it. It was calming to my spirit. the only other thing that could make me feel like that I believe would be to go home to the Motherland of Africa where all things wer born.
I am 57 years ol born in Oakland , CA. married, divorced an no children born of me. I have been in love with love all my life a romantic at heart yet I have never met a romantic or someone who is spiritual and at peace with themselves. I Like that you have shared that with me and with your permission i will print it out and put it in my favorite book. I believe we are all a part of each other and in that belief, I know I will meet 'The One'
'The One' he will feel like I feel about him, to listen to his heart beat is to hear the spirit of music and to hear him breath is like hearing the whisper of his soul speaking to me an I his. We love each other only second to our creator, we feel that we destined to be together and all that we have eperienced befor our time together has made us ready to live a lifetime in but a few moments... Well I have been called an idealist and when i first heard it, the way the person said it, I thought it was a dirty word.. lol If i am so be it but, i believe that such a love exsists and not just in a fairy tale.
I am sorry your poem brought out the chatter box in me. thank you again for sharing a part of me with you because, I feel your poem is a part of me. Thank You.
